I’ve got a book present from a friend who knows my taste. The name is “Straight Man.” This book starts with this. “Truth be told, I'm not an easy man. I can be an entertaining one, though it's been my experience that most people don't want to be entertained. They want to be comforted. And, of course, my idea of entertaining might not be yours…” On seeing these cynical sentences, I have premonition of falling in love with this book. Despite of this good feeling, I put this aside because I’m afraid that I cannot do other things-especially my thesis work- once I start to read. I should make some bittersweet distance now.
